“A SUPERMARKET IN CALIFORNIA”- ALLEN GINSBERG

The purpose of this design was to a spread illustrating the poem, “A Supermarket in California” by Allen Ginsburg.  The intention of the spread is to evoke the look of the poet’s fictional journal, with images referenced in the poem pasted throughout. The typeface choices reference both a manual typewriter and a hastily hand written note.
